Imagination Station has been a beloved Spartanburg institution since 1987. Founded by Marc Slotin, the store quickly became a favorite among locals for its vast selection of toys and games. From its original home in Hillcrest Shopping Center, to downtown, and to its soon-to-be home in Converse Corners at 551 East Main Street, Imagination Station has been a constant source of joy and creativity for generations.

In March 2023, Alex and Wiley North took the helm of Imagination Station with one goal in mind: to keep the fun alive! For Alex, this store is more than just a place to shop—it’s a treasure trove of childhood memories. Growing up, she spent many hours exploring every nook and cranny of Imagination Station, and now, she’s thrilled to continue its beloved legacy.

With a heart full of nostalgia and a passion for play, the Norths are breathing new life into this cherished east side gem. They’re bringing in the latest and greatest toys, crafting an inviting space where kids (and kids at heart) can play to their hearts’ content and creating an effortless shopping experience for everyone.

At Imagination Station, we’re all about keeping the joy of play alive and well in our community. We’re excited to share this journey with you!
